FREES MOTORS DURING HEAVY STARTS - During heavy starts and sudden running load increases,
lugging and motor stalling and burning is prevented. The Fluid Coupling simply "slips"
while it smoothly picks up the load.
PROVIDES CUSHIONED DRIVE - Mechanical connection is eliminated; horsepower and torque
are transmitted entirely through mass and velocity of fluid. Smooth, sustained power
flow without damaging shocks and strains.
IMPROVES DISTRIBUTION OF LOAD ON COMPOUNDED DRIVES - Power sources no longer "fight"
each other. Each is free to seek its own operating speed, while the Fluid Couplings
balance the load requirements at each point of operation.
NO SHOCK LOAD TRANSFER - Protects both driving and driven equipment by smoothing
out shock loads and preventing them from striking solid resistance. Also, torsional
vibration from engines or driven units is damped out.

engagements flexible couplings. Sizes 14.5, 17.5 and 21.
A standard coupling with input flange and flanged output shaft. Designed for installation
between two halves of a double engagement gear tooth flexible coupling. Sizes 14.5,
17.5 and 21.
A standard coupling with a stub shaft output. Mounts between a specially adapted
gear tooth flexible coupling on the input and a single engagement gear tooth flexible
coupling on the output. Sizes 14.5, 17.5, 21 and 27.
